ICT 2011
TO FACILITATE THE EXCHANGE OF SKILLS, INFORMATION AND EXPERIENCES BY NETWORKING COMMUNITIES
ICT 2011 is based on the parable of the mumu. We have a house, land and the stones, so let’s do something with what we have. And everyone attending a mumu comes with something to contribute; food, leaves, firewood etc, each according to their ability.
We took a group of 23 people to Goroka in February 2011. Our only stipulation was: "bring what you have with a generous sprinkling of openness, humility and a willingness to listen".
This we did. Some of the highlights included 'Masterchef' classes adapted to local ingredients, circus classes, song and dance, and a traditional highlands wedding. We rounded the trip off with a visit to Rabaul and New Ireland
Here are a few of our photos.
